Our Hemp Bars may be just what you need for that lunch on the go or that mid afternoon “something” to tie you over until your evening meal. Use them to quell cravings for sweets or carbohydrates or as a tasty source for your body's daily protein and Omega 3 & 6 requirements.

  • Our Hemp Bars are high protein, high in both Omega 3 & 6, low in saturated fats, very nutritional, great tasting and packed with energy.

  • Each bar consists of 84 grams (twice our recommended daily intake) of HEMP HEARTS™ (shelled hemp seeds) bonded together by a minimal amount (42 g) of bittersweet chocolate, then topped with generous amounts (74 g) of several choices of either whole nuts or partially dried fruit.

  • Satisfy your chocolate craving, your body’s protein needs and essential fatty acid (Omega 3 & 6) requirements all at the same time with only half of one of these delicious high energy bars. One of these bars can last two, three or even more days. For long time storage without you can freeze or refrigerate bars ( without any negative effects on nutritional value)

  • Hemp Bars: Almost 1/2 lb. or 7 oz. (200 g), 2 inch x 12 inch, (5 cm x 30 cm) bars are available in a Small Case of 16 bars or a Regular Case of 28 bars.
    Bars are packed in rigid plastic case designed so that whole nut and berry toppings are visible through clear plastic snap on top.

Each bar is composed of 8 tablespoons (84 g) of Hemp Hearts™ (shelled hemp seeds) bonded together with a minimal amount of bittersweet chocolate (42 g) and topped generously with one of many choices of whole nuts or partially dried fruit (74 g) - only three whole foods.

The half of one bar contains:

42 grams of Hemp Hearts™(shelled hemp seeds), 
240 calories of energy from 15 g protein
15 g polyunsaturated fats (11.4 g Omega 6 and 3.6 g Omega 3),
2.7 g mono-unsaturated fats (Omega 9), 2.1 g saturated fats,
4.5 g carbohydrates including 2.5 g fiber,
2 mg iron, 31 mg calcium, 3.8 mg sodium,
3.8 mg vitamin E, 956 IU vitamin D, 0.42 mg vitamin C, 0.05 mg vitamin B6,
0.14 mg vitamin B2, 0.58 mg vitamin B1, 1.68 IU vitamin A.

The dark chocolate in half of one bar contains 9 g of sugar, usually insignificant in comparison with the quantities of protein, essential fats and other valuable nutrients present. Those who avoid all sugar should use Hemp Hearts™ (shelled hemp seeds) with vegetables for breakfast - a more economical nutritious choice.

Each Hemp Bar consists mostly of Hemp Hearts™(shelled hemp seeds - an excellent source of protein, essential fats, vitamins and enzymes) and  tastes wonderfully because of chocolate and one of many complimentary fruit or nut toppings.
About half a bar is sufficient for most individuals for a special breakfast after which they will certainly not feel hungry until lunch (and can consider a raw vegetable later in the day).

Because protein is our most essential nutrient, human hunger levels are tuned to the amount of protein available to the body at any time. The 15 g of easily digested protein (about half a bar) in the Hemp Hearts™ (shelled hemp seeds) will protect the breakfast user from significant hunger until at least mid-afternoon. Those who begin their day with at least half a bar can easily avoid lunch as well as the later consumption of non-essential "fillers" and "energy boosters" - foods usually composed mostly of sugar, starches and added fats.

Because the human body uses fat for storing energy, it is unable to extract energy from fat quickly - quite the opposite of sugars and starches. Those who consume foods early each morning containing large percentages of protein and essential fats are not inclined to consume foods made mostly with sugar, starch and added fats - foods that often cause premature health failure.

Premature health failure may first appear as high cholesterol - a sign that veins and arteries have lost their elasticity because of imperfect diet. Premature health failure may first appear as high blood pressure - a sign that the heart is over-worked, required to pump blood through too many miles of sluggish blood vessels. One bar early each morning will satisfy hunger until mid-afternoon. Consume fluids without calories during the day, but especially when you feel hungry.
